Although interesting in some respects, your post is full of nothing but wishful thinking and incorrect assumptions.
1. It is the Democrats on the left which have led the crusade regarding demonizing political opponents they disagree with. "starve children, starve the elderly, make gradma eat dog food" and on and on....What you envision Republicans have done to Democrats, is completely 180 degrees divorced from reality.
2. Clinton and Gore were liars. It's a fact and has been documented by me and hundreds of other people for a very long time. Calling someone a liar when it's clearly the truth isn't demonization. It's a simple recognition of reality, and a picture of their character.
3. The national vote is irrelevant to the outcome of the election. No matter how much you or other Democrats may wish it to be otherwise.
4. Bush WON Florida in the only objective measurement system possible under the circumstances of the election. Do you believe somehow machines have a built in Bush bias or something? Gore and his team of unethical lawyers simply muddied the waters after the fact. And yes, they were unethical, because they attempted to unsurp the will of the majority of Florida residents by only re-counting heavily Democratic districts. An ethical team of people would have asked for a full state wide recount, instead of attempting to manipulate the law in their favor.
5. In the most important vote, the Supreme court ruled 7-2 in favor of Bush.
6. The Florida Supreme court, and heavily controlled Democratic canvassing boards which wanted to count and recount, shifting chad standards along the way, were completely biased in favor of Gore. To not see that, is to not recognize reality for what it is.
Elections aren't about clear victories. It doesn't really matter if Bush won by 1 vote. He won and will be our next President. Republican are entitled to celebrate. Just as Democrats did when Clinton won twice. It may bother you that we celebrate the cleaning of an unethical administration from the White House. Sorry, that's life and politics in America. Deal with it or don't. I really don't give a hoot, because Democrats such as yourself are so locked into a certain way of thinking, it doesn't really matter how Republicans act regarding the election results. You will think, or find excuses to believe we are all part of an evil right wing conspiracy regardless.
I've seen enough of the deep seated hatred toward Republicans on this board and others to fill a lifetime. Hatred toward Republicans is the driving force of the Democrat party.
When national Democrats say they want to "stone to death" entire Republican families as an act of revenge on national T.V. it's laughed off as a cool thing by Democrats on this board, and in many other places. The Democrat positive message has been missing for a long time. And your latest post, is just another twist on that deep seated belief system.
