Someone got interested in NTG today thats nice, I own a little and will hang on since it has a decent pe ratio. Have you noticed a lot of the IPO's in the sector except for the past week or so haven't done to well? Tax loss selling?

FWIW in the E&P sector I'm in but not in the "names" just critters like HEC,MMR,MMX and other down trodden laggards. XTO was my biggest mistake this year having bought back in March under $10 and selling way too soon. But as my dad once said to me a long time ago "You can't go broke making a profit" I tend to not look back.

Sold a large position in EPEX on Friday only to watch it jump a buck today. Such is life.

I'm thinking gas will fall off a cliff here in the next couple months and gas stocks will see some selling once this occurs. Canadians still seem cheap for the most part and if the US dollar continues to fall 2001 should be better for our brothers up north.

Marathon really raised the bar with the purchase of PN. $2.50 for proven reserves? PN drills lots of short lived wells and actually has had some problems with water and power sources for operation. I was surprised not only at the $19 a share offer but with the short closing time as well.

Hope all is well

Scott
