Hi Patrick ..

I think I've noticed a pattern that you might find usefull.

On days like today, there seemed to have been some folks that were "trapped" in short positions at the close of stocks(4PM). As they waited for the futures to pull back they got squeezed. Futures ramped up on them and they were forced to close at even higher prices.

On days like that, I've notticed that when futures open back up there is a sharp momentary reversal.

So that, if futures ramp up they will drop down when they reopen .. point and a half or so. if they ramp down, they bounce back up .. again 1.5 or so ..

FWIW

Gersh

BTW .. in case I missed you .. Happy Holidays
