Hi Frank,

[[ftth, thanks for the head's up on BTO]]

I've followed up on the Bandwidth Trading Organization a bit and I found the following:

lightrade.com
This is a fascinating (to me) list of players in the new "game" of bandwidth.

This is why Wall Street likes the prospects:
derivativesstrategy.com

Can you say "breathless". Golly, this is a new record in hyperbole for me. This article claims the converged data/voice bit stream in "clear channel FO nets" (whatever that is) is doubling every 72 days. Holy 3,200% annual increase, batman! No wonder my connections are getting to be so problematic. :)

You know this "pooling" thing reminds me of a similar term used on Wall Street in the 1920's. Pools, in those days, were rather self-serving and market-destructive. I wonder if this latest iteration will be seen the same way by the historians? <bg>

Best, Ray
