Yep. That's an apt description.

While I was at my sons house last weekend, I was telling him about BBots and he said there as a show called Robot Wars on PBS.

I happened to catch an episode. It was a British show and very similar, except they had "house" bots in the arena during the battle. They also had a tug-of-war contest.

Very interesting, but not as exciting as BBots.
