RDRT ended the day right at resistance, just under its 50 day MA. Looks like another go on the reverse H & S.
It is my priveledge at this time to post my success today on "holds" as well as some day trades. I need to post the details of my daytrading for Davey, as he seems to be very interested.
OEI and NMC popped!!! Who would have thunk it on NMC? Anyway, now I have that gap problem to deal with. What to do...what to do. <ggg>
I have to like the action on TEK. I am up 67% on Jan. 30 calls. 10 day MA crossover 50 day MA coming up while shorter avgs. are under 200 day MA and price is above. I like this stock this week. Pros are out of town and thin vol. will help out.
Speaking of thin volume, DNEX is on a diet, but it popped out of the triangle today. You mentioned that you're looking at entry around 31 (to make me happy). I think that
32 may be the short term bottom.
OK, now for my daytrades, and thank you for your patience Davey. I have to admit that I did not look at fundamentals at all and just looked at the charts. That is the reason why I didn't post these plays. Unfortunatly, due to some success, this could become habit forming.
I bought CLKS at opening. I found this stock on First Calls Most Recommended list for 12-25-00. Chart looked temporarily bottomed out. Batta bing!!! I have no idea what this stock is all about and have already sold.
Picked up ELN calls. ELN dropped under 200 day MA last week. Stock is expensive, but way too popular not to recover. It recovered. I'll hold for another day. This is a day and a half trade.
I also noticed CDO on First Call's list. CDO need to get over 12 3/4, but I remember the fundamentals and see there's enough wiggle room for a quick trade. I'm still in, BUT I bought it during the day. Hope this qualifies under Davey's scrutiny for a daytrade. If it doesn't, then I will move it to my hold category.
ANNOUNCEMENT: I am going to give ADIC a try for tomorrow, using the same daytrading techniques described in this post and my previous post. I am hoping that this settles Davey's inquisiveness and passion for the details of our daytrading
strategies. Oh, what the heck, here's another trade....I like C again. Picking up some calls.
