MB, when you got a margin call you can sell whatever you want to eliminate it. Selling a stock which is under $5 is even better way to do that. I think in this environment where big stocks like CSCO, EMC, INTC, SUNW have come down so much many people got margin calls because these stocks usually provided the margin. When you got a margin call you sell some trash immediately and then try to wait allowed 3 days hoping your stocks would recover. At least this is what I was doing when I got margin call shorting Dhell somewhat 2 years ago. -g-
