Ken, Re: cutting interest rates in Jan ? Will this happen?
and by how much?
It would seem to me that if the Fed starts cutting
rates that will go directly against GWBush's ability to
cut taxes.
The Dems will immediately cry foul and say that
if we cut rates AND cut taxes it will be inflationary.
Thus there wil be no tax cut.
A tax cut would be more feasible if we started going a little bit into recession....

So, exactly what did Bush and Greenspan talk about last week Mon?
Do they have a coordinated plan?

Finally , at what point does a soft landing turn into a recession?

I think this gives plenty of things to talk about to day,
as the market continues to ?unravel.....
