One problem in waiting for a clear signal - I have to short at double and triple tops, if I wait for a break to the downside I find that I can't get in the short position at a reasonable price because of the uptick rule. - Of course, if there is a break to the upside it is easy to place a buy at market for a long position. - Today, it looked like a double top at 2481, so I shorted JDSU at that point.
