For the most part, since G* phone is dual mode or tri-mode, then it is a cell phone as well. Furthermore, if you are inside, then why do you need a phone anyway, the odds are you are landlined. On the data cable modem, does anybody know if this works in Sat mode only to surf the web or can you use it in cell mode as well at 9600? It would seem to me that Ricochet and G* should have convos on G* being the filler albeit at slower speeds unless Mac is correct in his slight of hand software assertion. Also, corporate seems to be a little too silent these days with G*'s enterprise value dwindling to minute levels vs. embedded P.P& E. I'm hoping it can only get better from here.
