I like the sector on fundamentals. More and bigger trials are in store, not less. And they need to be well done, so quality counts (can't think of any botched trials last year for example can we?).

QTRN is the big cap visible stock, but I continue to like KNDL better and I think PPDI is interesting with a nice mix of development thrown in.

PRXL gave me a quote to do some work I didn't like at all so I have to say I am now a bit skeptical about them, although I liked them before and so I have to bow out of that assessment. CVD I think may be having capacity problems if so, it would be likely to hold it down for a while. We could see some consolidation, which at these prices would not be much good for shareholders.

The standard indicator seems to be backlog, although I look for a steady year-to-year growth in actual trial revenues to show they can finish what they start. Backlog has been a bugaboo for awhile, we all know there is no way around doing bigger better trials so the piper is going to be paid eventually.

For a little speculative fun perhaps look at BITI which offers some very specialized CR services. I have held some for a while now, looks undervalued but do your own DD as always.

All the best,

RWR
