Excellent post, Don! Very informative. I suppose this is a key quote from the links you provided:

"The staff, however, will not object if registrants that have not applied this accounting do not restate prior financial statements provided they report a change in accounting principle in accordance with APB Opinion No. 20, Accounting Changes, and FASB Statement No. 3, Reporting Accounting Changes in Interim Financial Statements, no later than the fourth fiscal quarter of the fiscal year beginning after December 15, 1999."

That would be right about now! Haven't read yet whether NETA plans to "restate" revenues or not yet. However, unless you believe this is the beginning of the end for NETA, $3 and change is pretty cheap. If nothing else, these guys have got to be pretty attractive to the likes of CA and others. We'll see.
