The danger in buying a stock that increases in price is that it can lead people to conclude they are intelligent despite all the evidence to the contrary. This provides little safety to those around that person as it only becomes evident that they are really dumb as a rock after everybody else has been sucked in and buys overpriced crap stocks. Last March the dumbest among us took the lead. Fortunately, we now have a "leaders only" thread.
