the multiplication occurs according to the fractional reserve formula. that's all one needs to know...

another way of looking at it is by checking the pace of credit creation in the economy and comparing it to economic and money supply growth. it's telling the same tale basically.

i'd stay away from this utility. yes, they won't let it go under, but it has a HUGE debt burden now.
