I was in and out of Avnx all day, but I did get back in before the close.
Also I have my long term Avnx shares, held in a separate account, that employs a buy and hold strategy. Patience is the operative strategy in that account.
Today was an interesting day to interface with mr. mkt. It was very choppy out there by any standard.
All in all, Avnx showed strength, as it continued to be bought, through out the day. Just before the close Avnx held up well, as the futures were drifting back. The stock finished strong, with the buying at the close.
Avnx, continues to move higher in extended hours trading. This may not be the start of the major up move, we have been looking for, thats O.K.. I'll take, what ever I can get for short term gains, in my actively trade account.
To be honest though, I would have done better just sitting tight. The mkt was too choppy. Luckily I remained persistent, and was finally reward for my efforts at the end of the day. |
