for norton antivirus users.... liveupdate tells me that there are new defs to be downloaded and installed, but as is frequently the case, i'm not able to retrieve them via lu. and the newest virus def file on the symantec site is 1220i32.exe, which i already have. anybody have any ideas here? [edit in: i tried disabling zonealarm in case it may have been interfering, but that made no diff. i also read in a recent newsletter from symantec that some isp's get between lu and a user's pc, but that seems unlikely due to the intermittency of these lu probs.] :) mark
