I didnt talk down BRCM when I was shorting it at 230, and again at 140. I sold My Q on last run, and I dont remember talking it down either. I am happy for those who profit, I already have enough for myself, I hope everyone else equall fortune. That doesnt dismiss reality. Is everyone who has a negative thing to say about Q just talking the price down? IBEX you are trully in need of a broader perspective. There were many who questioned my motives when I sold Q in Feb, and claimed I was talking it, and BRCM and JDSU down because I was un invested. Was I? Or was I making prudent analysis. My opinion on Qcom is well documented, and my defence of the fud is as well regardless of my position.
My view on valuation has also always been skeptical because I just dont know what any of these Tech stocjs are worth. Qcom at current values is neither cheap or expencive, and I am a buyer in the 70's and a seller in 90's-100's. This until the economic reality is more clear. My view is there is a VICIOUS recession in store in the next year. Ive been calling this since June-July. Back then People that I was nuts now they think I am being overly pessimistic. In 3 months they will think I am a genius. Good luck, and be carefull these are dangerous sea's you are navigating.
