dj, Well, that clear channel for phonons tuns out to be important for heat conduction and could allow a lot more speed from Athlon derivatives that the natural isotope ratio....could be 30% or more. Add that to SOI and to .13 and to natural impovements and the P-4 is no threat to AMD esp seince they seem to mbe ahead of Intel in this. In addition, east german connection will probably allow for extra Si28 to come from the Sov bloc. Royalties still to be paid, but in light of the EP problems it looms larger as a factor. Has there been any clarification of the EP teething troubles? Bill
