David if it works for him...that is good. However a market order leaves you open no matter what, where, who, why, when or how you trade. As I said before, there are times when it is good to use a market order, for example, Friday when USRX (or many other stocks) dropped way down. At that time it would have been better to use a market order to assure getting the stock while it was low. There have been many occassions when my orders have been filled in two or more parts and at two or more prices.

He didn't miss out on those buys he mentioned because he failed to use a market order...he missed out because he was trying to shave the last eight or quarter. A market order will allow one to trade without forethought in setting a limit order price, however it still leaves one open to the disappointment such as Dwight expressed.

Oh BTW I don't know anything about ridin the Bulls, launching Rockets or playing the Jazz....but I am taking the three car in a bet with my daughter...who's taking the 24 car. Maybe I should just pay her now! <GGG>
