Kevin: Still considering attending at least one day, so I'm continually reviewing the conference schedule to determine which day would yield the best return on (time) investment.

Discovered another session to be held late Monday, titled "c.era Participating Vendor Meeting (for c.era members only)". This is a closed session. Then, immediately following, there is an open session hosted by Kevin Schick titled "Success Through Cooperation".

Hmmmm ... that sounds like a great place to announce the results of the "cooperative era" efforts that have taken place over the past few months since Schick joined VIAS. c.era is VIASOFT's initiative to combine the efforts of several vendors to provide Y2K solutions.

For you folks who are short VIAS, be prepared. It seems to me that this week will provide plenty of opportunities to add to your short position as the stock rises on news of alliances.

For you longs, enjoy your place in the sun (Phoenix jab intended) !!!

For you short term traders, have a ball !!!

Happy profits to all,
