Does not matter which Stock an analyst rips, downgrades or talks negatively about. When they take down a sector the whole sector goes, I have lost so much money in so many stocks that I can no longer believe any of them. NT JDSU SDLI GLW, it does not matter every one has been given the The %50 discount and more. Fundamentals Matter not, For all the Chatter that abounds everywhere, these tech stocks have been thrown to the wind for the time being, nothing matters at all. All the Hot Fast money is now going other places, Medical Devices, Drugs, Pharmaceuticals, Biotech's, Finance. Wherever there are real earnings, and realistic PE ratios. When Oil Stocks Were hot a few years ago, the Sector was thrown to the dogs and it stayed there a long time. Ultimately the good companies come back, but it can take a long time. So I cannot imagine JDSU going back to 100 anytime in the near term. But Hell what do I know. As many people have said When I sell out you can be sure the stock will Fly. I sold QCOM @ 80 and two days later it went to 105. I do not trust the market these days for nothing. I believe that if things are as bad as they seem to be, When We start to hear of the negative pre announcements the first week in January We will all have more buying opportunities. No one knows the Criteria Alan Greenspan will use to determine a rate decrease. Everyone Expects a decrease. All these people who have been Hyping a rally when AG speaks have really no clue. I used to listen to the CNBC Pundits, analysts, money managers like they actually had some idea where the markets were going. They really sounded like they knew. But not much of what they say happens. But lately has anyone noticed just how really lost they all are. These are Fund Managers. Has anyone taken the time to think about what will happen if there is no decrease. I Am like most people and want to believe there will be a decrease. But we never know. The trend has not slowed as yet. The trend is still down. So I will hope for the best and especially for JDSU. But mostly I hope we all get the interest rate decrease the markets need. This Bear market has cost me and almost everyone I know, small and large fortunes. Good luck To all the JDSU longs. And I hope for a better year in 2001. And thanks for your patience with me just had to get it all off my mind. Spreck |
