Just an aside about an analyst/money manager I saw on cnbc last week. He was advising the audience to get out of tech and into "old economy" stocks. His rationale was that the dow would set new highs by the end of 2001 at 11,500(approximately 10%gain) while tech would finish 2001 well off its all time highs of nasdaq 5000. He predicted 4500 which was up 80% or so from what nasdaq was that day. What a jerk! And none of the cnboys questioned him on this issue.
