I was talking to someone at work today that has a cost basis of under $5 in some of the old high flyers, INTC, MSFT, CSCO. I asked if he was doing any tax loss selling and he said that wasn't a problem this year, but that he was holding out for the new year to unload his low cost basis techs so he could delay the taxes for a year. Wonder if this will be our january effect?
