I was thinking the same thing. I have some winners in the oil patch that I'm planning to dump on Tuesday..... The interesting thing is how the daytraders played this last year. In QCOM, they knew there were many with this strategy and shorted the crap out of it. Kind of the opposite of the current situation, but I wonder how many of those long term buy and holders are ready to get out. Keep in mind, talk of recession only started recently, and the picture didn't look too bad a few months ago. They tend to move slow, so maybe some have decided to sell into the january rally. On that note of being slow to react, I expect most to hold to much much lower levels.
