Barry Goldwater (who I very much liked in many ways) from the 1964 Republican National Convention ... the line actually came from "None Dare Call It Treason" published (in secret) by the John Birch Society ... it was handed out in the millions and millions of copies at college campuses all over the U.S. in the spring of 1964 ... ... reminds me of George Wallace, Charlton Heston and a city council woman of the 1960s and 70s here in Boston named Louise Day Hicks - true intellectuals and lovers of peace and humanity ... kind of like Ariel Sharon and Benjamin Netanyahu who offer easy and simple answers on request ... no thinking necessary ...
