PCSTEL--I really think there are too few facts for anyone to draw any conclusions on what might happen to G*. You keep saying that the 52 low earth orbit satellites are worthless because G* doesn't own the gateways and therefore has no way to market its assets. That's an interesting conjecture, but why wouldn't service providers like Vodafone be interested in at least getting a return from their gateways? Are you saying that the gateway owners are content to just sit on their assets and do nothing? Doesn't seem logical to me.

As long as those 52 satellites are operating, it seems to me there is some user value to anyone with an interest in providing services to those satellites. The more mundane questions are (1) how many subscribers are using the system as of the end of December, and (2) how many billable minutes are there for December, compared with earlier months? Once we know a little more about these questions, we might be able to determine if there is any value in the orbiting assets.
