Despite the frequent cancellations of racing due to weather, simulcasting revenues continue to grow. I would guess they'll be arriving at the $1 mil level in 2001.
They have a couple of recent good things; the first is the boxing show this Friday will be telecast on ESPN2, the second is their refusal to allow a jockey barred from CD to race at Mountaineer despite being named on 18 horses.
This is surely a correct decision as the management looks like they know what they're doing.
