The 5-year chart on AVNT in my professional opinion is a real freak show. I cannot tell why. In the companies 8 year history it has only done poorly in 1997 and even that year sales were up and it did manage a profit. I got that information from a free Multex.com report. Their $25 reports are absolutely great but they are expensive. Since I only have owned the stock since May I can only tell you that its quarterly results have had no significant negative surprises in the past year.
