Ish, you've been pretty noble in this. Shootie's been a dunderhead. I do not see why you now connect with him in this eerie postmortem silliness. Monica and her sister were at arm's length for years. The sister kept trying to screw Monica left and right for money and care. You recall, (do you?), the goddamned demands the sister made, the money demands, before she would even consider coming to NY to be with Monica. I fully agree with your thought of let it go, let it be past. Then keep the leeches out of the frame, the self-satisfying suckers of blood from the corpse.
