Michael, this is turning out to be a most excellent thread. Not only are we exchanging links to info, but also we are exchanging solutions to problems. My contribution today is daytrading.com Check it out. This is a division of Datek. You can set up level 2, soes capable, instinet and market news for free. Trading is .25 share. Even if you don't day trade, this is a wonderful tool. Level 2 lets you see what the market makers are doing. Soes is a direct trade mechanism, no middle man. Instinet lets you in on the inside the spread trading. Anyone interested, go to the site and send the co. e-mail requesting info on remote trading,or download the software for a free demo.
