The recent insider buying appears to have been quite timely. HDII has rallied about 30% thus far this week. The severe drop during most of December could probably be ascribed to the overall weak market, profit-taking/tax selling, and disappointment at the lack of a slam-dunk announcement coming from the annual meeting. This company rarely makes slam-dunk announcements leaving press releases to only substantive factual developments.

2001 is looking quite promising if not downright exciting: the company has already announced profits will be up significantly; these projections do not account for potential sales of the Profilor resulting from this FDA approval. As the company methodically gears up to its sales and distribution network for the Profilor, we may begin to get an idea of just how large the market may be. Since competition for this specific niche, an office device to measure cardiovascular elasticity/integrity (in 30 seconds), is nil (see link below), the prospects for sales and growth for HDII are indeed impressive.

We await further news on the company's progress in establishing reimbursement criteria. Here's a post I made in November regarding this subject Message 14742369
