Not everyone is so enthusiastic, particularly about some of the newer titles.

This is nothing more than a fighting game in a kitchen, garden, alley and barnyard, where the combatants get to throw things like flower pots and chairs at each other, then hammer away with a frying pan or a tennis racquet. It may be true to the original cartoon, but that just makes it feel old. You're lucky if it stays comical for long, and the only real winner here is boredom. There's also a PlayStation version that's different, with split screen action and more rooms.

Kids deserve better.
