I don't think he should have been suspended, whatever he did on his application. And I stated something to that effect publicly.

But this is not the government. Freedom of speech applies not to private situations and that is something both liberals and conservatives apparently don't understand. When John Rocker got himself slapped by his bosses, conservatives were all in a row about it, angrily citing "Freedom of Speech." And they were as wrong can be. DJD was at the mercy of the SI gods. We all are. And should they determine certain of us detract from the ambiance of the place, then we are gone. And that is that. I don't agree with it (and said it), but I am not the authority here.
