Next time you see someone from the Islamic school, ask how many special education students are enrolled in the school.

Or for that matter, next time you see a friend whose kid attends a Catholic school, ask them how many special education students are enrolled in the school.

Public schools have to accept all students ... and educate them ... even if that means there are three autistic or EMR kids in one classroom with one teacher and an aide.

Re: "Should we start learning Arabic?" I suspect the school has achieved a culture for academic achievement ... as opposed to the language per se. But your point is taken.

Understand one thing: I am not in favor of maintaining the status quo in public education. I advocate major, sweeping changes in those public schools which, for whatever reason, aren't cutting it academically.
