sure ANTC can get cheaper. dump it too this week! decided to not own anything that deal with T for now. I know many have compared Cien pass situation to all the beaten up stocks this year. WRONG!!!!!! what happened to Cien will likely not happen to HLIT...why? a) the landscape of competition in this area was vastly different 2 years ago when CIEN tank. They got lucky when they ran into execution problems before the BIG BANG IN BROADBAND TOOK PLACE. They benefited from the big ramp up over the past 18 months to revive the stock and the company. b) Big bang is over, now only the strong survive and growth will no longer be at the same rate as the last 2 years....Thus, don't bet on this stock going from 6 to 150 in the next 10 years. You are free to come back in 6 months or 10 years and tell me I am wrong about HLIT and this big bang theory. Slow economy will also put the break further on cap ex. c)I have been proven wrong with this stock over the past 9 months and I rather buy other "cheap" stocks. d)It is easy to compare CIEN to any beaten stock to see a rosy picture. HAVE YOU HEAR OF "pass performance is not a guarantee of future performance"...this caveat emptor should be attached to HLIT. e)sometimes cheap stock is not a bargain and that is the sum of my previous post. f) if you buy this stock at 7 then you didn't feel the pain of most longs that bought at 40's, 30's, 20's, 10's or even at 8. g) I don't know why I even wrote this much stuff about this stock now that I sold and vow never to touch it again. Good luck on your holding.
