I wondered about that "no Seven-Elevens in Mexico" remark after I made it. My point was more along the lines of global name-brand recognition relating to Nike vs. Seven-Eleven. But thanks for the correction.

I don't know how long it will be before the Krispy Kreme stores open in those far-flung places. But I hope they have stores in those places eventually and I plan to be along for the ride since I'm a life-long Krispy Kreme fan. I think it's great that, among all the companies that I own, I can own one I've really liked all my life and know I always will. (Sure, Mr. Potter calls that "sentimental hogwash" but I'm talking about more than just the Building and Loan here<g>.)
I hope that when your local Krispy Kreme store opens you'll take the time to go watch the smiling faces of the people standing in line for their donuts. There's something special about Krispy Kremes.

I hear you about the weight loss dilemma. I started out by eating Krispy Kremes only on Sunday when my local store opened but once a week wasn't enough. Now I eat them whenever I want. My trick is to limit myself to three and perform penance in the form of a couple of sets of afternoon tennis.
