OPTI to buy back 1 million shares: biz.yahoo.com Wednesday December 27, 6:13 pm Eastern Time OPTi to repurchase up to 1 million shares MILPITAS, Calif., Dec. 27 (Reuters) - Semiconductor maker OPTi Inc. (NasdaqNM:OPTI - news) said on Wednesday it plans to repurchase up to 1 million shares of its outstanding stock in a bid to maximize shareholder value. The Milpitas, Calif.-based company said it plans to repurchase the shares on the open market from time to time depending on market conditions, share price and other factors. The company had about 11.7 million shares outstanding as of Dec. 22.
