I certainly try to be a gentleman and will admit to the possibility of being wrong, although the objective evidence suggests otherwise. I am sure that you, being a gentleman, will issue a similar statement. But then again you said the matter is closed. Perhaps what you meant to say is that your mind is closed.
You see in the land of conviction there is the factually certain, the different degrees of the possible and the impossible. Oh,,, yes, there is also the island of denial. I am located in the land possible to a fairly high degree. I would ask you where you sit but you say the matter is closed.
I will give a high degree of credit for at least asking some inital questions. I don't know where everyone else sits because it can be tough at sometimes to read silence. People do like to rib and run on the Net. But I suspect they are in the located in the land of the possible. Thank you to those who wrote me e-mail to support the theory. But I will give highest marks to lars who has publicly stated his support for the possiblity. (I tried to e-mail you back lars but it was booted back - hope you got it).
As far as calling "Don" a liar, well, I strongly suggest you might regret that statement as I am sure you would not want a thread sponsored by yourself, a gentleman, to degenerate into name calling and would be very suprised to learn that you were encouraging that from me.
As fas as asking "Don" questions directly, I refer you to the last paragraph of my post. I see questions to "Don" there and not you. You must have missed them.
You conclude that my motivation is to pit people against one another. Did I question your motivation in, perhaps, ridiculing me along with others ("No... I am the real BB... Ha ha!) to pit me against everyone or did I assume it was just good natured ribbbing accompanied be some nervous laughter? I gave you the benefit of the doubt; why not give me the same.
I am merely trying to open your mind to the possible. You see my motivation was to educate and to learn at the same time. I am sure that is your motive as well.
You and others are not to blame for holding BB in the highest regard so far as to deny the possible. Bob goes overboard to create the air of invincibility on the air for one good reason among others -- to attract listeners. But BB is not perfect and he may be the last one to admit it publicly. After all, BB "himself" has missed calling at least one bear market in the past ten years! |
