Cheap labor is tough work at any level. It almost seems like the lower the wage, the harder the work. The hardest work I have ever performed was at my lowest wage ever.

However, cheap labor is a necessary ingredient of the US economic system. A rise in the minimum wage has a ripple effect in the economy just as many other items do. But, the tragedy of this scenario is the individuals that get trapped into cheap labor situations as a way of life.
