You seem to be assumeing that a it is a forgone conclution that a defense will not work now or any time in the next decade or two. If that is your assumption then I think you are wrong. Tim, No, I am not assuming that....what I said was that we have no way of defending ourselves against a massive missile attack and that is one of the reasons why star wars was bagged. Who's to say what will be invented in the future? ted
