In general, I would like to add companies that would improve the list, but to do so requires a fairly big effort based on the way my data base is set up. As long as I keep the companies constant, the maintenance of the data base is quite easy. I do have problems when one, or more, of the companies in my list become acquired, or "disappear", from the list. I have kept this type of upgrade to a manageable effort by cutting the list down. That is how the list has "shrunk" from 40 stocks to the present 33 over the past 3 - 4 years.

Someday, I'll probably start a new list, but in the meantime, I look at the list as a general indicator of the semi-equip sector performance. It has flaws, but is probably still a reasonable index for the stock performance of the group as a whole.

One of these days, when I get real ambitious<gg>, I'll start a new baseline of companies.

Thanks for your support and have a Happy New Year's weekend.

Don W.
