<I am sincerely curious, have you ever purchased AMD shares? I know you're a fan of AMD, but I have never seen you post your purchases, so I was curious.>

I have owned AMD since October 1998. I was still at Intel back then. I bought AMD after I talked to a P4 designer. He attended the first public presentation of the K7 architecture and looked like a deer in the headlights. I owned a ton of INTC, so I decided to hedge my bets and bought AMD.

I liquidated all my INTC in May, 1999 and accumulated AMD for several months by selling naked puts. I have been fully invested in AMD since October, 1999. The last six months I have been selling covered AMD puts every month. So I did not get killed like many other AMD longs in this decline.
