Ok, this morning I feel I have made some progress:

Those that I will not do business with and reason:

Field Financial
5 Per Side
First American Discount

All are IB's for ED&F Man. Their interface, although easy to use, is browser based. That is not going to happen here.......

Fox Global - they have their own software, did not like.
Instant Futures - Browser based.

I have also pitched others not noted here, but not a big deal.

Now the possible choices. All three platforms:

Leo Web:

Keystone - $13.98 per round, $5,000 to open, Leo to Tops.
ZAP - $22.24 currently, no need to change, Leo to Tops.

Benefit, ease of transition or no transition. Also know the software, and like it.

RCG Direct:

This software appears somewhat clunky. That could be the case indeed, or perhaps I just would need to get used to it.

VIP - $5000 to open, about $13.00 per round.
Robbins Trading - Unknown...not on website and did not call.
Rosenthal Collins - Not known.

Best Platform:

UTrade - $5,000, $12.04
Reifler - $7,500, $9.98 with connections

Others:

gfetc.com Is a possiblity here as well. Don't know them at all. This is what I have found out though:

User name and password for the demo of the online trading is fast and action. Looks just like something I have seen on IPSEC's site in the past which I believe to be the Lind Waldock interface.....which actually looks very simple and intuitive. But it is browser based...which eliminates them.

Seems to me that I am leaning towards the BEST platform at this time. With that in mind it would narrow down to Reifler or UTrade I think.

Thoughts anyone?
