One of the financial highlights of 2000 is likely to be that it is the year that executive management and the board of directors took a world-class company and essentially drove it into the ground. My condolences to everyone who had substantial amounts of money on the line and had faith in those who receive most generous benefits in exchange for representing the best interests of the shareholders.
