OT: GLW was added on his list in May 1998. There were 26 picks remaining on his list from 1999. Some companies dumped during 2000 like LVLT were red when dumped.
Some of his 2000 picks were bad like XLA, MOT, PRCM, AVNX, STOR, and EXDS. I don't think any of the new picks were up for the year.

He never added NTAP and SDLI in which he wrote favorably in 1999 and 2000.

Last year he cackled that five of the ten best S&P 500 stocks were his choices.

This year top five (can't find the top ten)

Dynegy (DYN:NYSE - news) 364.6%
Reebok Intl (RBK:NYSE - news) 236.6%
EOG Resources (EOG:NYSE - news) 221.4%
Healthsouth (HRC:NYSE - news) 216%
Calpine (CPN:NYSE - news) 191.8%
Not one of his picks.

Worst-Performing S&P 500 Stocks
(data thru' 12/28/2000)

Novell (NOVL:Nasdaq - news) -86.6%
Yahoo (YHOO:Nasdaq - news) -85.7%
Sapient (SAPE:Nasdaq - news) -83%
Lucent Technologies (LU:NYSE - news) -82.5%
Compuware (CPWR:Nasdaq - news) -82.3%
Two of his picks.
