you don't like my tone.. oooh I guess a little yahoo or infoseek would be too much work.. While not saying the COBOL needs a little help-basically a lot of mainframe/IBM systems will need the 2 byte addition, Like I have said BEFORE- any programmer worth his SALT will do this conversion for HIS COMPANY, on Company time. have you ever heard of PRIDE in work and accomplishments? do you think that a guys whose career is programming would allow his company to do the job for him as opposed totaking credit for such a "difficult" problem? you are a joke- you haven't posted a URL EVER. Another feather in your cap. UNISYS? come on I know people that play with those ancient languages for FUN..Getting paid would be a plus only to pay for the tedium of the simple repetitious work. Shall I email a few programmers and have them tell you? Lee- If you are out there add a little here!! Peter- you were in Systems- let 'em know! Mary S- you work for Computer Associates- let this guy know what is going on with you- If you are allowed! Sondo- If any of these three read this post- you will get an email about it. BUT again- for someone who doesn't post any links to anything- you really shouldn't expect a person to give you any facts. have a good life- i will refrain from any future discourse with you as I can see it would be a one sided effort- GO LONG and lose your bankroll. the chart is strong for upward movement now- but the fundamentals SUCK so much it is a poor gamble for a long.. good day and good riddance. taxi
