Don't blame Greenspan. Blame Clinton/Reno/Klein/19 state attorneys-wanna-be-generals, and Jackson. They put a screeching halt to the very forces that Greenspan credited with keeping interest rates, inflation, and unemployment low -- increased productivity.

Remember the story about the goose that laid the golden egg? This day should have been seen coming from a mile away, although nobody really believed that Jackson would be such a dufus as to fall for the hooey flung at MSFT from all directions. Now, even when MSFT wins on appeal to the DC Circuit, it's still got Jackson's findings of fact ("fiction") that can be used against it in the class actions.

Meanwhile, California is crying about a power crisis when it's CA's own da** fault -- increased population and energy demand, but no new power plants. Duhhhh! What a bunch of imbeciles.

Ayn Rand's book, "Atlas Shrugged," is starting to play out. Who is John Galt?

Happy New Year to you and all the porchers!
