I had discounted the impact of JIT and was still seeing a slow down...agree with you...this is not like the early 90's. Capital spending will be the key...also there are some new accounting methods that allow large service contracts to be capitalized. I even watch the old machine tool index which provides a front edge indicator.

I think the 2nd half will be fine...my only paranoia involves the middle east...it's much more volatile than people realize.
