Eric

Thanks for posting that, it's only right that you post the article that starts to make me feel better since you were the one who put me in this funky mood with your 2007 prediction.

If the UWCC is going to lets say evolve TDMA into WCDMA do they have to go via EDGE. As I understand it GPRS is a necessary step because of converting from circuit switched to packet switched. But can't they go directly from GPRS to WCDMA? And if so why the added replacement costs?

You also brought up a question regarding IJ's credibility which I'll have you know is the first from a Q shareholder and then this comment from Cingular about alot of Qualcomm Hype in that theory sort of adds to the issue. So is 1X as omnipotent as Q says it is or isn't it.

One other Question you may help me with is the CDG in the nasty article stated that it would be easy to go from TDMA to CDMA2000 because they share the same network, ANSI-41, while the TDMA side says no way. Which is true.
If they do share the same network and still choose to go the scenic route via GPRS/EDGE then something is very wrong somewhere and I would like to know what it is before it's too late!
