Another major risk is that many of the so-called "leading" companies, such as CSCO are doing it with smoke and mirrors--pooling vs purchase accounting methods.

I'd like to point out that it appears that purchase vs. pooling will be a moot issue, soon enough. I guess the CSCO bashing focus will have to intensify on the options issue at that point<g>.
